United States of America I find that the majority (non-Americans) are going to USA. Are you?

I'm going to USA myself, and I've pretty much only found people going to USA, with a few exceptions of course ^^

What state are you going to?(If you know yet)
Which state were you hoping for?
Just curious!
Hi Livasi,
Maybe we should ask you, where should everyone want to go?
Best city in the US?
Best state in the US?
Where do the nicest people live in the US?

Massachusetts!
Hmm...best city? Probably New York City. I've been several times, and it's a new experience every time. A;so, having pics from the Empire State Building and Statue of Liberty is a plus! It's also one of the biggest cities in the US. I think Hollywood must be a cool place too (I've never been) but I highly doubt you would get placed there.
Best State? Thats a hard one. (I havent been to all of them, and I'm a little biased for massachusetts.
The nicest people? I've always thought people in Vermont and New Hampshire were always very kind, but you'll find nice people everywhere. I think the classic small town(which is very common in VT or NH) is where some of the kindest people are. Small towns often have close-knit communities, and knowing your neighbors is a common thing. (I've always loved small towns, but some people dislike them. I depends how you are!)That's not to say cities are not friendly! I think, like anywhere, you'll find some unbelievably kind people, along with a few that are not-so-nice..
Hope that interests you guys. If you have any more questions, ask away! I think wherever you get placed, you'll have an awesome time.

Thank you so much for your answers. They were great.
I spent 8 days in New York with my girlfriend this summer. It was awesome! Soo cool just to walk around. YOu don't have to do much, just look at all the people.

No problem. I'm glad they were interesting!
It really is amazing. And yeah, the people are pretty cool too. Every time I've been, ive done something new, like seeing a show on Broadway (Chitty Chitty Bang Bang!) or even just walking around the blocks and exploring. I'd love to live there for a little while someday.

Ooops, guess I forgot to check this topic for answers o.o"
Well, I have chosen three states; Arizona (1st), Nevada (2nd) and Colorado (3rd), so I'll be placed in one of those three states, unless fate fails me
It's hard for me to hope for states when I've chosen just three states and not the whole country. But I really hope to get placed somewhere in Arizona!
But I love the south-western states for their lovely climates and weather - living in Denmark with (at least for us Danes) cold winters makes us really biased towards warm places, haha! ;D

Wow, you're the first explorius student I've seen who didnt choose California or Florida.
Now in the cold norwegian winter (-20C today) I would love to go somewhere warm. Florida is tempting, but I will probably go with YFU and they don't offer state guarantee. Which is why I am (and have to be...) open for everything. Anyway, I'm hoping for a nice family rather than a nice place.

hi there I'm from the U.S.A. as well (GO SOUTH DAKOTA!) and personally I would choose Colorado especially if you love the outdoors and the seasons, if you want somewhere warm i'd go with your first or second choice although i've only been to Arizona and Nevada once. All of your choices are great for outdoor activites and have a culture far different from that of south dakota

i live in Texas, USA and i havnt been to all the states but out of the 20 states i have been to, i really enjoyed Florida, New York, and California. Texas is actually known for the nicest people in the US but I have to admit, its pretty boring. haha but Ive also heard South and North Carolina are very beautiful states and have lots of things to do.
